Meet Diamond

FROM THE WRITER’S DESK

The people on the page.

The characters I keep thinking about are rarely easy to explain.

They can long to be understood and still hide what they most need to say. They can love someone and hurt them. They can see a choice that might change things and still be afraid to make it.

When I write, I want to understand what each person is carrying and let their choices matter. There’s room for tenderness, humor, responsibility, and growth in the same story.
